Givex Announces Global Remote Work Policy
After nearly 30 months of working from home, the global fintech has officially launched a new workplace policy, allowing its 310+ employees across its 12 offices to work from home or the office
TORONTO , August 2, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – Givex Information Technology Group Ltd. (“Givex”) (TSX: GIVX) today announced its Global Remote Work Policy. With more than 310 employees in 12 offices in 10 countries, this announcement marks an important step for the Toronto-based company.

The Givex leadership team made the decision to offer a full-time work from home policy to meet the needs of our hardworking, productive employees across the globe while also providing the ability to work in the office should that be desired. “
Since March 2020Givex has achieved key business milestones while working remotely, including increasing annual sales by more than 50%, maintaining positive cash flow and completing three acquisitions (loyalty road, Calex and Pi Cash Systems), IPO on the TSX in Canada and OTC in the US and created the Givex Hub in Brazil, which now powers millions of consumer transactions. Givex has also added GivexPay and Merchant of Record to its service profile, added two data centers, significantly upgraded its GivexPOS system and is in the process of installing more than 1,500 new locations. The number of merchants using at least one Givex service has grown to over 115,000 active locations worldwide.

Givex employees are asked to attend two in-office team meetings per month to work through issues, share ideas and collaborate (while closely following social distancing recommendations) and quarterly events.
