Start recruiting collaborators using “Telecube”, a soundproof private booth that will be installed

in public spaces across the country

V-cube, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Group Chairman and CEO: Naoaki Mashita, hereinafter “V-cube”) announces that it is seeking cooperation partners to utilize Telecube, which can be used in public spaces everywhere Japan will be installed for a limited period from November 22 (Tue) 2022 to January 31 (Tue) 2023.

This initiative will use Telecube installed in public spaces such as commercial buildings and train stations, as well as company offices, to jointly conduct web conferencing, business meetings and collaboration on new businesses and services for office workers who do teleworking. In the past, Telecube has been used for marketing actions such as installation at events and distribution of samples. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.

■ Background on recruiting collaborators using Telecube

Five years after its launch, Telecube has been installed not only in corporate offices, but also in large train stations, office buildings and entrances, commercial buildings, airports, universities and hospitals. The purpose of this initiative is to rediscover new ways of using Telecube with collaborative partners by leveraging these user and space attributes and providing V-Cube with real touchpoints that already exist.

As part of this initiative, Telecubes, located in public places across the country, can be used to collaboratively test new services and businesses for business people who spend their busy days teleworking and meeting online. Especially the properties of Telecube, a soundproof private space, make it suitable for services that need to be carried out without concern for the eyes of others.

Telecube is being considered for use in telemedicine, online English conversation classes, administrative procedures, online housing consultation, finance, insurance, co-working business and live streaming business. Through this recruitment of collaborators, we hope to further develop applications for Telecube, which is used in a variety of industries and sectors.

“Telecube” is a soundproof private booth that can be easily installed in various places, launched by V-Cube in 2017 to solve the “no space for web conferencing” problem. At the end of October 2022, the number of installed units in Japan exceeded 14,000 sites.

Inside, a table, chair and power sockets are equipped to enable work such as document preparation, email and communication by phone or web conference in a quiet and safe environment. The lineup includes a Solo type for one-on-one work, a Group 1 type for 1-on-1 and other small group meetings, and a Group 2 type for large-group meetings.
